Iowa State University, Ames, and app developer Rade|Eccles, Overland Park, Kan., have teamed to develop the Pesticide and Field Records iPad app to help growers record and track pesticide application information.
The free app allows users to link information to specific field locations using satellite mapping, according to a news release.
The information can be used to meet state and federal pesticide record-keeping requirements.
The app also features an option so users can search Environmental Protection Agency product registration numbers and restrict-use materials.
You can download the app free at iTunes.
